Ruiner Nerg vs AT Nerg
Just finished AT Nerg quest solo. And i dare say it was the hardest and the most intense fight in this game for me. not counting fat ♥♥♥ AT Xenojiva(which is just about hphphp). The question is(Iceborne players) how does these two Nergs go with each other concerning difficulty?

Ruiner Nerg is easier because he does not have any real dangerous dive or slam attacks nor does he spam one. Overall Ruiner Nerg is even easier than normal Nerg since Ruiner does not have an oneshot attack like normal nergs dive. Well, maybe he does but I never saw it because he mostly only lies there, stunned (in mp).

Overall Ruiner is just.. aggressive. He rarely gives room to breath if you can't stunlock him, his spikes now makes you bleed.. still easy to dodge because its always the same pattern when they come out.

Fun fact: AT Xeno has less HP than AT Hedgehog.

Ruiner Nergigante is (proportionally) easier because he is Master Rank Nergi, whereas Arch-Tempered Nergi was designed to be the single hardest fight in the entire game.

The Master Rank monsters are not supposed to make every monster Arch-Tempered, they are just a general difficulty tune-up. Arch-Tempered fights are supposed to be challenges for the apex of the playerbase.

Oh, I would also like to say that IMO Arch-Tempered Xeno'Jiiva is the single best AT fight in the game but to each their own. AT Xeno's HP really isn't that bad, the most annoying part of the monster IMO is the overall speed, but it's still manageable and a very fun and fair fight IMO.

AT nerginante is harder than Ruiner Nerginante cause AT is supposed to be a cheap fight with spams and ♥♥♥♥, Ruiner Nerg is actually designed to be a good fight.
ATs are just the lazy way of doing a monster harder.

Ruiner Nerg is easier than the regular Nergigante, not even AT In my honest opinion, and the reason for that is because his new moves that involve him getting rid of black spikes literally never hit you. IDK what it is but all of them are so easy to dodge and they are always aimed in a wierd way that just seems to completely miss you. The Dive bomb actually catches some people, but Since he doesn't have the classic Dive Bomb, I feel like he is literally just a nerg with the basic moves. Not to mention he deosn't have the AT nerg pepega Slam, or AT Nergs AI that spams the ♥♥♥♥ out of the quick claw swipes.

Im actually really dissapointed in how Ruiner Nerg plays out. Id also like to quickly say AT Xenojiiva is incredibly fun by my standards and he was changed the most out of all AT's, and has a unique way of forcing you to dodge certain attacks that I incredibly enjoy. I enjoy AT Xeno the most out of all the AT's.

AT isn't lazy at all, normal tempered is the actual lazy one. it's supposed to be cheap, but it's still fair once you figure out it's moves and be patient

As long as the slam exists, I wouldn't use the term "fair" around AT Nergi.
