WTF is that jumping sound effect?

I agree, it's a bit weird. I already got used to it though so it's not that bad.

Has anyone who is experienced in this stuff tried to replace the audio file for the jumping sound with a blank one? I'm curious if that will work.

What format are the audio files?? (would like to customize it)

Sound effects are .wav files.
Music are .ogg
Edit : but .wav files aren't readable, weird. :D

Are you sure thats not just the sound effects.. the actual music is wav too???

That seems weird.. well i still don't know if i can run it or if it has the complete ps4 touch pad mapping (a demo would help)
but if i do and i find any tracks i dislike enough to replace i will most definitely try.

Ya i thought wav for SFX was weird but ya i know what you mean now, .wav for the jump SFX.
Will try to replace that too as long as it properly labeled and isn't mixed in with a thousand other audio files if it not... (was going to say no wonder it 30 gigs)

I think they are badly labeled. There is a folder named 'se' (sound effects) and all 700+ files are named se_y123.wav (with different numbers of course).

WTF just noticed Camp Menu is greyed out from your pics and can't be remapped since there is no second assign button like PS4....

So not only are none of the files labeled in a folder of 1000 files,
apparently they won't even open in Audacity so they definetly not .ogg...
(some weird compresed garbage posing as .ogg and .wav so theres no way to tell what track is what even listening to them one by one.....)
