How to get a flaw?

I'm trying to get more "favorable" conditions of flaws for my playstyle, but kinda hit the wall. Vague directions from guides not helping much. Hope someone here can give concrete advice.

1. "Cynophobia" - how times is "too many"? I have danced naked with several canids for minutes, with and without block - no luck. Raptidons triggered in the first encounter...
2. Is there any concrete numbers on "Compulsive buyer" flaw? Is there a money to spend limit, or minimal price limit?
3. "Fasrsighted" - how exactly i can get it? Where is easet place to get it?

Farsighted and nearsighted I've read to be being blinded while wielding melee/ranged weapons.


Also, I've read rumors that flaws can't trigger too close together, possibly requiring time or travel to open up another possibility.

Have let several the swarms hit me about 10 minutes each. No luck with the farsighted flaw. Doesn't seem to be worth it, if I have to use this much time and effort with no effect.

Just get hit by specific damagetypes. The flaws will pop up eventually. Take only those that gives +25% of said dmg-type. Every other flaw is ridiculous (the statnerfs are insane for one lousy perkpoint).
