Did you test your ram already?

If not, do it please and better use Memtest86 or some decent tool.
Same for your hard drives.

Deactivate Windows game bar.

Windows button + i /gaming and deactivate game bar, recording, the game mode can remain active.

Remove your old Nivida driver by using DDU and be sure, you hit the option, "Deactivate auto updates of Windows", so it doesn't download a new one if you return to your standard mode.

Download/Start NVcleaninstall and pick the option, "Select driver manually", and pick the driver 497.29 you have downloaded already.

Next screen, you just pick one option of all, Display Driver and go next.

Once the files are decompressed, you need to set those options below from the screen.

https://gyazo.com/e61d51edc8170223937613ae60f670d5

Hit next and let it install the driver clean and accept the message of Windows,"Install unverified driver", and your done.

Deactivate Windows fullscreen optimization.

Go to:

X:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\Win64

TslGame.exe, right click on it and properties/compatibility and deactivate the Windows full screen optimization there.

Now open the nivida control panel and go to, "adjust desktop size and position".

There you can change to fullscreen and like on the picture below.

I have the same issue, after the last patch (bear patch) the lag spikes, stutter, made the game unplayable
Same here ... so far no problem´s with other games ...

My specs.:
CPU: i7-8750H
GPU: RTX2070
RAM: 32.0 GB (31.9 GB usable)
Win11 64-bit operating system
Intel NVMe SSD

Not unplayable, noticing packet loss, and quite a few blue screen crashes. It's always an error to do with ram. Replaced the sticks, still having the issue. I think it's something to do with one of the anticheat methods. I'm not sure though.
i9-13900f
msi 3090ti
128gigs of ram, and everything on ssd.

My fps used to drop until i used the "emptystandbylist" command on Windows 11 Task Scheduler. It turns out that win 11 doesn't clear/dump the memory cache that often, so there used to be a huge memory drain. Just google:

" 2019-- 100% FIX FORNITE& PUBG AND OTHER GAME STUTTERS AND FRAME DROPS!! FINALLY! read description! by iitzzWyKd ".

It worked for me, maybe it'll work for you too.

same here except i'm not getting frame drops i'm getting random freezes. it started happening when they made the dumbest decision yet of removing server region selection a while ago. I could be playing EU servers and i wouldn't know

Thanks for the Info! Will try that.

... few minutes later ... I was curious ... have seen the video you suggested ... my Cache was 22,2 gigs ...

Dont know, it°s strange ... the video is 4 years old and Microsoft made nothing with the problem, nothing to fix this ... My mind is stopping ...

Me and my friends getting the same performance issuses since the last patch. The actual version of this game is a performance disaster. The stutter and the very bad performance at the beginning of every match when a lot of playeres alife. This must be fixed and improved with the next patch!

My system is new installed (deactived auto update/gamebar and other stuff), went back from WQHD to FullHD and the performance feels like the same - same worse... lol :D

The game performance is actual a joke and much frustrating in the moment, when i compare it to other games with much better graphics. It feels like i play on a old 2000s PC system :D

But i forgot.... the most important part of PUBG Developers.... are skins, skins aaand.. skins!
