CAN I USE VPN FOR PUBG

I have used about 2-3times VPN to play and it’s ok, but I didn’t switch to other region, I just connected same region and test if it’s lag or better when I use VPN whole play this game, don’t know if it will lead a ban when you use VPN to switch region.
One thing is clear that you can’t use VPN to buy games from other region

VPN use is not permitted by Steam, however that doesn't seem to stop the Chinese

it is perfectly fine to play through VPN, however, you may increase your ping slightly because of all the rerouting.

It isn't perfectly fine, Steam prohibits it. Though I am not sure why Chinese get away with it but stop giving people bad advice

So long as you aren't using a vpn to switch store regions valve doesn't care so yeah it is perfectly fine.

Again valve doesn't care unless you are using it abusively to switch store regions, or as was mentioned in the thread you linked if use it to try and bypass georestrictions but otherwise they do not care. You can link whatever you want thats their policy on the matter, the terms and conditions about it are intentionally broad because it is legally safer for them to have it that way it does not represent how they chose to enforce the terms and conditions.

What about the all star PUBG streamers who plays with using VPN? They absolutely advertise VPN in youtube. Like Ninja, Chocotacco, and etc. They used Hotspot Shield, Tunnel Bear, etc.
