I definitely don't want to just win matches, I agree that would become quite dull quite quickly. I can appreciate there is some SBMM in there of course. What didn't feel right about it was the instant lock-on as soon as the match begins and I got bounced around from bot to bot and within 10 seconds I've lost 75% of my health in what I would essentially classify as a permastun. The sudden MMR inflation I understand if someone has mostly just won. I might be a minority of people here who found it frustrating, possibly it would be worth adding a disclaimer in the game of how the MMR works and it will balance out? I don't know whether you have access to replays but if you do, I would encourage you to look at the beginning of some matches. In particular, on some maps where it's very close quarters, it was the beginning of the rounds which was the most frustrating being targeted for 10 seconds with what feels like 100% aim.
Thankyou again for your response, I will continue to play and see how the MMR works itself out.
It's also important to note that MMR only adjusts when you complete a match. We've had issues in the past with people quitting out of losing matches and their MMR would only stay the same or go up on wins, creating a horrible feedback loop of harder and harder matches that they would leave. It doesn't look like you did that at all, so you should be good though!
