I admit... i cheated... i used cheat engine to swap dexterity with strenght coz in DS1 you can't do it legit and it's annoying to not be able to change type of weapons from a NG+ to another. Now i got restricted account. I deleted the data files, will i got unrestricted? I bought the remastered only to play it online, now i can't...

I know i can use family share, but i would like to use my profile. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ promise i would not use cheats again online... I'll do seppuku if you ask me to...

At least now i'm happy to see that the bans work great, people are still screaming cheaters there cheaters here for no reason.

An advice, if you want to troll this guys that much with injections just use family share.

For me it is quite amusing some one would like to one shot another or something in Dark souls, what would the fun in that be :(.

PS : I will only pay offline to get away from the kids melodrama of modern online vs in any games :V!

Well the cheaters are pros that make the injection softwares so regular Joe's like this one that doesn't event know the cheat rules will alaways get detected.

Never understand the nead to cheat in DS, It is a game that you play for the hardness of it and now you want to make it easy, meh will stay with offline :D.

There are some nice videos of for example Malcolm cheating and watchdogs not detecting it. While it was better than what we have now, it's not perfect either. With some googling or experience you can easily hack trough Watchdogs. But I'm all for getting better anticheat.

In Dark Souls 1 and Demon's Souls you couldn't respec. Nothing new. It is what it is. Just plan ahead your builds, that's my tip for you.

They could disable family share. Not all games can be shared. Or restricting online for family shared accounts. People could still try the game, but offline. Also it's not From who has to do it, but Bamco.

Dark souls is relatively lenient when it comes to their bans etc, I'm sure if you delete the save and wait about 3-5 days it will clear

I was restricted on dsr, delete your saved games, play online for a bit, and then you'll get restricted next day or couple days, but make sure you play online after, so the severs can pick up that you're not using any more exploits

So, it's up to Bamco the family sharing thing? I thought it was imposed by Steam.

Fair enough. Legit players would suffer once again because of cheaters. I'm not saying I'm against it tho. I don't really care all that much about that. But if family sharing got disabled, legit players banned by hackers would've to buy the game again, despite being innocent. It's not easy to prevent stuff like that.

Have you honestly never cheated before? It's a very simple concept to not get banned. Do not edit permanent values and do not mess up story progression through spawning or value changing.
