I have a 165Hz display and knowing how smooth the game could be saddens me abit, but I would still like to point out that this remaster seems to run smoother than other Dark Souls games, I don't know why or how but it just seems so. Maybe they fixed something with G-sync since my monitor uses and supports it, but for the time being we can only wait for some third-party programs to help us!
These 60FPS locks is just something we have to deal for now, it doesn't really bother me. Having 165 FPS in games is just like the cherry on top of an otherwise delicious cake, something that can be there but won't be missed too bad if it isn't.

I imagine it would do the opposite if you were to go above 60...
This is really bad tbh.
Not only that but following the previous games, all the other mechanics will be tied to the framerate too. Like how original DkS 2 had its durability degradation tied to how many frames your weapon was in contact with something during an attack animation.
Alot of mechanics did not work as intended at 60FPS though.
I've made the same mistake once.
