Don't be daft. It's not like Netflix is doing this for free for Valve or without their permission. This show went through rigorous planning, promising creative individuals / teams were selected not just by Netflix but also by Valve to bring their ideas properly on to the platform.

The generic anime style really hurts this one, it would have ben a bit better if it had a unique one instead.

Plus, the heroes showcased are really generic as well and can be basically found in almost every cookie-cutter fantasy: why not make Rubick, or hell, even Puck or Io a focus? Their lore is not that well-known and should be explored deeper.

This is a new beginning for DotA, eager to see its universe expand throughout the years.
