Who Are the Best Tank (Durable) Heroes?
I like to play Tanky heroes, but I don't know which ones are good

The only heroes where tanking a lot of damage actually does something in and of itself are Axe, Bristleback, and Specter. As for a hero that is naturally tanky, your best choice is probably Bristleback. He can build a lot of durability items and has good mid and late game.

Nobody mentions Mangix, he can tank some crazy damage and his ult is, for all intents and purposes, a get out of jail free card. I mean, he can be countered by many stuns, but he has a lot of evasion built into his character for the rightclicks that follow and a very powerful nuke/slow to help him escape..

By Mangix he means brewmaster.

Elder Titan.

you hit like a truck and if the enemy start to get too annoying you put them to sleep and walk off.

Depends. Most "durable" heroes have a gimmick more complicated than simply being able to take hits. Oftentimes "durable" heroes excel at healing themselves rapidly, which technically makes them as tanky as heroes who have a lot of HP, armor and resistance, but are actually relatively squishy otherwise (for example Enchantress doesn't have much base HP, but she can rapidly heal herself and any attackers get a MASSIVE slow, making her very powerful against team relying heavily on right-click damage, but dying very quickly to burst damage).

Centaur, Tidehunter.
Both are easy for beginners.

Centaur: Best Strength gain in the game so you should outweight everyone else in terms of base HP
Tidehunter: Very hard to burst down due to his high HP and passive (you go in the fight->they start disabling and damaging you-> your passive kicks in-> you're no longer stunned->escape)

il never forget the game where i went beyond godlike with tidehunter. it was so fun.

Basically heros with str/agil. primary skills and lifesteal, I find the tank role kind of hard without the lifesteal skills

> Wraith king
> Lifestealer
> Ursa

Non lifesteal heros

> Axe (situational)
> Sven
> Bristleback
> Timbersaw
> Abaddon

Those are my top picks

Bristle, no one can tank like him if you know how to play.

If the damage output is done by (mostly) magic dmg, then Huskar and AM,if the main damage is done by physical dmg, then BB,Tide,PL,DK,Visage, but all in all i think Abaddon is the best durable hero of all

What about clockwerk? With the right items his defense tends to be very high plus the power cogs for escape
