Necronomicon on Clockwork, any opinions?
I've started using this to some decent effect on Clockwork, rushing it just after phase boots. I run it level 1 if they have no enemy invis/ shadow Blade user 3 if they do. I get this instead of an Aganems or Blademail depending on the match.

I just wonderd others thoughts on this, as they no longer seem to force players out of cogs.

In addition anyone know how i can define the select buttons for the Necro units?

There should be an option in the game where you can change your keybindings.
It should also show the default keys for various commands.
Because anything that involves micromanaging no matter how minor, should be more manageable that way. At least that's my assumption. I'm curious myself, because typically when I play Chen or use helm of the dominator, I put neutral creeps on autofollow, even though they could just as well help with attacking.
hm. Hookshoot + Cogs + Battery + Necronomicon = kill. Not bad :D
You can assign your summons to control groups, just bind your control group 1-10 to the keys you want them on in the options menu and then while in game press CTRL+<KEY> to set the control group to all your units you have selected EG: if you select the necro archer and press CTRL+1, the next time you press 1 you will select the necro archer. Currently you have to re-asign these groups every game, but after the patch later they will be saved.

You can change your keybinds, click the cog in the top left corner then select "Controls".

Really, wow that's great to hear. I was actually too lazy to check for hotkeys and such, so I always did it archaic like, clicking on the unit doing a stun or something back on autofollow and then select myself again. ;p

Another usefull set of binds are "Select all units" and "Select all other units". Which will select everything you can control, and select everything but your hero.

Cheers, I'll check it out some time.
thanks for that thought it might be 'a key' + binding but couldn't find the info anywhere. Would other non number keys be bindable? (i have an odd set up).

Yeah it does work well especially at heavy but frail nukers (like lich & Lina) quite often in games it seems people don't know that killing the red Necro creep will hit you for 600 damage at lvl 3

Also i just relised that the blue necro creeps mana burn insn't passive it's active, hence needing more micor ;)

Well even if you know, it could be very much unintentional, as in say Lich uses his ulti, it bounces around, kills stuff but also the red creep, bam lich dies.
Or it's just you and and say Jug omnislashes you and the red creep.

They keys can be what ever you want them to be, just go into options and then in the "Unit Actions" Tab in the control section there should be 10 options called "Control group 1-10" and then "control group tab", the control groups work as I previously said, set them to what you want then select your units in game and press "CTRL+<Your chosen key>" and that key will be bound to your creep for the current game, the tab option allows you to cycle between the abilities of units in your current control group, which is very usefull for chen or HoTD.
Jugs the one hero that escapes it (and if he is on the other team i will be very unlikly to pick Clockwork). As i belive that both his blade furry and Omnislash will completly nullify any damage from your abilities and your necro (besides their 'right click') ;(

The bladefury is gives him a free BKB, and his omnislash allows him to dodge targeted spells, your necro and hook can still hit him though, also ghost scepter and invis break his ultimate incase you did not know.
i knew invis did, I didnt know Ghost Scepter broke his ult, but can you even see him to use it?
I thought Blade Furry blocks all magical damage?

Blade Furry: Causes a bladestorm of destructive force around Juggernaut, rendering him immune to magic and dealing damage to nearby enemy units. Lasts 5 seconds.
You don't necessarily have to see him, if you know he's coming and his ult isn't on cd you can pop it just to be safe. Typically I assume as soon as you see him move wildly he's already using his ult, maybe he gets one hit in, you pop the scepter right away and that should stop it immediately.
You might as well buy other items instead. The Necro creeps don't do enough damage for the cost of them, unless you REALLY need pushing power. You get more kill potential from a Bottle, Drums, Ghost Scepter, Force Staff, and Aghanim's among other things. Clockwerk is my most played hero. Necro doesn't benefit him enough to make it worth the gold (which is far better spent on other items).
