Last hitting your own minions is the most stupid mechanic ever

Not an opinion, fact.
This is the biggest reason i have stayed away from Dota 2 and this is the actual reason i gave up on Heroes of Newerth very fast.

Let me just... explain what i mean, and what i am suggesting.

1. It's not fun if you're playing and trying to kill a minion for gold, then your enemy kills his own minion and you get nothing, it just makes everything... less fun.

2. It's unnecessarily much complicated to be thinking about killing your own minions when there's both enemy minions and enemy champions already there to focus on, your attention will be split not just between 2, but 3 things, it's confusing and it automatically reduces your efficiency as a player.

3. Demoralizing, Imagine if you were in a military infantry unit, and the commanders would always kill everybody that's about to die. Would you take the first chance you can get to drop out of the military? or would you take the first chance to drop out of the military? how about dropping out of the military? (My point is, nobody would willingly be a minion if your own allies are going to kill you)

4. Certainly i can play just ignoring this feature (except for my number 1 point) but not competitively, since competitive gameplay essentially means you have to be doing everything possible to win. And games like this... they're all about being competitive in the end.

In my opinion this function alone alienates a huge potential playerbase (For example, the vast majority of all league of legends players)

A solution would be an alternative game mode without this function

Even better: a game mode where the game works more like league of legends and less like heroes of newerth (no couriers, turrets have shorter range but do more damage/are more important, inhibitors respawn, etc, just a game mode that resembles league of legends as closely as possible.)

If there had been such a thing in the start, i wouldn't have hesitated to jump ship from league of legends into this game, not even for a second. (And i was there in the earlier beta stages of this game giving up on it already)

Of course it would have been best if valve had had enough of a brain to consider this from the start, but unfortunately it seems that it didn't.

Everything else than this i could have easily lived with but the murdering of your own allies is just... a boring, unnecessary feature with NO "good" explanation nor reasoning to be placed in the game...

So basically you don't like games with complex mechanics, even though denying creeps is hardly complex and confusing. Just think of it as the same as last-hitting for gold, attack it when you can 1 hit it. GG.

After this comment, i just think that you re having some problems with ur brain, or ur abilities to read, research are "awesome", just use Google, HoN is just a copy version of Dota 1 with graphics increased but worse gameplay, LoL, is also a copy version of Dota 1 but reduced some mechanics and made it much more easier to play

Then Dota 2? It's the next version of Dota 1, better graphics, better gameplay (although Dota 1&2 are nearly the same but there are tons of differences in game mechanics, hope you knew it :) )

Denying creeps makes Dota unique and much more better (of course also harder) than others MOBA games, so, dont just because you re so noob that you said Dota 2 gameplay is bad :) First map of Dota was released almost 10 years ago, its gameplay has been developed by community for years, and has gained lots of achievements

I got sick of LoL ages ago. I'm one of its earliest players. I can only play ARAM in it.

The reason i want this game to work out for me (and my buddies that also just play lol) is because it's got (From a customer point of view) such a much better business model, structer, better code, better developer, better everything except the actual gameplay because of what i just said.

So then adapt to this game ffs. Complaing about it on a forum isn't going to do anything. This is how dota was when it was new they're not going to change something like that now.
