How to: Farm with Alchemist?

Question is given, I would like some advice. When I am in pair with my friend on a lane I can usually farm (except when enemy heroes on same lane are better combination than ours) easily, but when I go with random guys, it is just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying. Stealing last hits with support characters, not pulling, not warding (though I may have advanced in the skill bracket, because for the first time I met a team where they were warding our joungle's pull place!).

Sometimes I find guys who are glad to support, but do it in a ♥♥♥♥ way:
- Staying off-lane (no level) in jungle and get ganked easily.

Also, I think Alchemist is not a good hero for public games since you really depend on your team.
You need someone to:
- WARD/COUNTER WARD
- Harass the enemy (not necessary though)
- Mid-hero ganking your lane, so you can farm in peace.
- Avoid stealing last hits.

I usually get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stats (2-7 or worse) in public games because I can't get the items and the other lane feeds the enemy's carry to hell. I often try to turn the match around by jungling their jungle (since ours is full of wards/enemy heroes) and farming items, but usually my team feeds them even more and once I get back with a shadow blade/mjollnir it's already too late and only Tier 3 towers are standing.


Any advices on farming?

I am not a greeat alchemist palyer myself but the reason you usually cant farm while others are harasing you is alchemist dies fast with his low base armour
I usually get a ring of regeneration and then make a preservence
Your ulti is really spammable and it increases your hp and mana regen depending on the current regen point your have. With a preservene you get full hp and mana every time your turn your ulti on

My last hitting is great nowadays, the Perseverance sounds good. Thanks for the advice, I'll try it.

A pure farm Alch only works if your support does all the heavy lifting or your opponents don't know what they are doing. During the early game a farm Alch is pretty much useless his team. The payoff however is that, if a farm Alch can farm, he quickly gets very powerful and start carrying the team earlier than other carries.
The trick is to know when to play and when not to play a farm Alch. Sometimes it's better to not max GG first and every once in a while it's even best to take the enemies tower as quickly as possible instead of just farming lane creeps. And if you want to play a good farm Alch you have to be able to solo your lane once you reached lvl 6.

If you're having a bad lane don't max greevil's greed, get acid spray if you're having trouble coming to your lane to last hit as it prevent enemies from coming to last hit themselves without taking damage, or max concoction if you're confident you can get some kills with your supports.

Alchemist is a great hero even early on, that's why he's picked so much in the pro scene. He doesn't need 10k worth of items to even be a factor in fights. Just remember leveling greevils greed is useless if you're not farming.

Also shadow blade is a great item for alchemist if you want to start doing early work on your enemy

Max Q first and let the armor reduction and dmg over time help you last hit. max E second then W. Wait till people attack you and kill them.

Yeah, do that if you want to get roflstomped by your opponents.

You do not want to use Acid Spray on a regular base coz it pushes the creep wave and forces you to fight under your opponents tower. Alch can last hit creeps with ease, you don't need Acid Spray to do it.
However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't use it at all. It's great to harass/scare away your opponents and to gain lane control coz most people expect a gank once you used it. Just make sure to place it behind the melee creeps, don't let it damage them unless your support is about to pull the lane camp.
