It kinda is the exact definition of noobish- with practice there is nothing that actually requires the camera to be locked on your hero. Watch a video of some of the higher-level players like Purge and you'll see he has no problems creep-blocking whatsoever.
The camera-lock might act like training wheels when you are first starting out, but if you use it for to long it becomes a crutch you can't function without, and there's no good way to break players of bad habits.

you can press F1 to center the cam on the hero
Cause I might be looking far away and I dont want to click the map to move back to my hero.
I want to make it so I can quickly look back at my hero by pressing spacebar, that's what I do on LoL. But reading Etagloc's post, that is so damn helpful from the hating comments.

Unfortunately the console command to add delay to a bind was removed from the source engine a long time ago due to bhop scripts in counter strike so having a key that locks for a short duration then unlocks is impossible as far as I know.
