the new lion looks like an aborted pokemon. the old lion actually looked like a DEMON WITCH, which he is supposed to be. it was probably changed due to all the 15 yo complaining that he doesn't look tough.

I agree, the newest Lion is pretty bad compared to previous Lions. Though instead of giving us back the second skin, I recommend polishing the first and original Lion skin.

I for one really loved the original Lion portrait, it's the best face by far- giving off that "badass, been to hell and back again" vibe that fits his character- cutting to his foes with his dark wit. The current one however, this is really quite... "What did you do to Lion... ??" In all honestly, he looks like a flamboyant Dracula. No offense to the artists that designed it and all, but it's the least appealing by far. I found it hard to take previous Lion seriously, his face was humorous. This one seems properly serious, and it nicely resembles those classic lion statues.

But his mouth hardly moves and he has no lips! You can't even tell what he's saying, even with the sound on. His face looked much better with full flesh and the horns, instead of this barebones spiked monstrosity that is even more ridiculous than heavy set horned fatman burst support.

old lion looked really alive.. this is a violation of the VALVE.. hes change Tools of the Demon Witch Set . after update this set looks very different

I hope they could atleast compromise and create something between the lines of the old and new models that'd keep the majority happy.

I personally found the new lion wierd, but i learnt to love it.

i got used to the new look but i'd wish they'd freakin fix the horn helm for him so the helms eye actually replaces the gem on his head

I found the second Lion appearance to look a bit comical. I don't know why, but I didn't find him to look very badass, just very snarky.

The current look appears more badass, but is indeed lacking in its expression. It just looks angry, which doesn't exactly fit Lion's character.

Maybe Valve should try to find some kind of middle ground. Both appearances have their good points and bad points. New appearance looks more pure badass, but older appearance looked extremely confident, and with a very strong sarcastic sense of humor.

Would be cool if they released an item called "We fired the idiot who screwed up Lion" and it was an override for the screwed up Lion skin.
