Mute system out of control = half of players muted?

Hello everyone. As you can see in topic title, im here to speak about this problem that threathen to ruin whole dota expirience. This system as it is now is simply unsustainable and it's just a matter of time when all players will be muted. Just from my friendlist i know at least 50 friends being muted for nonsense and all of them are expirienced players, some of them with more than 2000 games without insults or any other types of abusing. What you need to realise is that this is online game, and at some point it has to come to swearing and fighting over some thing but from the time you connect to internet you have to be prepared for that. Other games have other systems of handing that since those are played on private server where admins handle those cases separately, but here, where public system is on, and where not a single report is checked by a human, it has to come to missuse and abuse of the system. Why there is a mute button at first place at scoreboard? Why that isnt enough? Why there is a need for muting player from global speaking? In a multiplayer game disabling someone to speak in chat? Seriously? This leads to nowhere else than muting everyone that plays the game decently and that is exactly what is happening now as you can see in game most of the players have [Muted] in name or random spamming chatwheel. Game is not what is should be without speaking in chat.

he... ok here is what happened to me.
after winning several games. i just tried to chat and there it is disruptive account. i was just like ok did i do anything? really? and let it slip cuz it's just 24 hours.
then after 24 hours of mute and endurance i kept i play one game and voila! there you go this is your bonus for winning. 48 hours of ban.

ok i forgot to add this one thing. i was in a party with friends which is there is no way to report me other than the enemy team. so keep in mind don't text "GGWP" that will get you no where but "MUTED PARTY"

No one deserves to be muted from global chat, period. There is a reason why there is an option to mute a single player. If someone annoys you, mute him and enjoy. But to mute someone from speaking 1,2 or 7 days in a multiplayer game where one of main abilities is to speak with teammates is just ridiculos and you won't prove us (majority) wrong. If you can't handle remarks on your playing/items/skill build go play Sims and enjoy.

in entire gameplay of dota 2 i think i've been banned for 6 times including these two. 3 of them for disconnection which is power cut, and sometimes dota 2 server just kicks us out. it's really weird bcuz of that some players who kept playing the game will just report you for leaving and they just choose the communication abuse option and they don't even include a reason.

Even if they include a reason it is pointless since no real human checks reports but a generated system machine that delievers bans no matter if they are true or false, which lead us to straight reason why this system is simply unsustainable for this kind of a game. It led to the point as it is now where players out of revenge report without a reason just to be equal with those who reported them.

i hope they fix this before the whole release thing bcuz game itself is still buggy somehow on visual or glitch gameplay, and system compability is not good too losing frames and such even on maxed out pc

I've never been muted. None of my mates have ver been muted. I don't know if any of my friends of Steam have been muted, but I doubt it. And I rage a lot, and I know when I rage and when I'm trespassing the limit, so If I get muted because I insulted, I just deserve it.

I support muting problematic players, and I dont think it ruins the game; what really ruins the game is people raging, flamming or talking only god knows what in his own language showing 0 respect to his mates. I moved from LoL to DOTA for a lot of reasons, and one of those is how they threath disrispectfull players: without mercy. This game is free, they only ask you in returno a little bit of respect; if you can do that, then gtfo or simply get muted.

I like this muting system. It helps keeps trolls from speaking. Also to the justin beiber person. Riot is just a money grabbing company

I keep getting bad team mates and when i get frustrated with their inability to do something right i have to keep it to myself? I have to teach random people how to play?
Then what use has the tutorial? The practice with bots? The thousands of videos?
Bad people should play with bad people.

Can you clarify to me what do you consider as a bad behavior? Saying to a guy that there is 3 times better items for viper rather than a scepter? For that i should be muted for 7 days? Or for giving a friendly advices to players how we should attack etc.. People are getting this game waaaay to serious.. Someone offended you in a game? Is it end of the world maybe? Mute him in scoreboard menu and chill.

as long as it's not reality punch on their faces it's not much that offensive. LOL well to be honest this banning system needs to be fixed or doing as it intends to do.

people don't get what this thread is trying to say. Some players are getting banned for nothing. Are they lunatics or don't know how to read what it says. Can't they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ help trying to get it clear with this unfair banning system
