Dota 2 minimizing

Guys I really need help with this issue ok the problem is that while Im playing dota 2 sometimes the game minimizes itself and this happens sometimes when Im in a teamfight or while Im in the store it doest matter but the game gets minimezed doest matter the moment well its really annoying this happens once every game sometimes it happens 2 times well someone could help me with this PLZZZZZZZ

no it happens automatic and happens only in dota 2

Are you running any external programs other than Steam and Dota 2 when this is happening? It is quite possible they are trying to become the top window, if only briefly, which is causing Dota 2 to minimise.

It might also be worth changing Dota 2 to Borderless Window (instead of Fullscreen) and see if you still get the problem.

Borderless window is not a solution, I want to play my game in full screen. Running a borderless window lowers framerate. There must be a real soution for this, my game has not done this since the year beast update. Please help

To anyone who may suffer with this again and should stumble upon this year old thread. Borderless window is definitely not a solution. I have managed to fix a minimizing issue which occured very frequently in and outside of dota 2. If you look at your task manager under processes and arrange it by CPU, you will be able to notice which .exe keeps interrupting your screens focus. For me it was an exe called LiveUpd.exe for my 3G software. uninstalling and reinstalling the program fixed it. Hopefully you will be able to track down which software is causing you this issue, but the LiveUpd.exe for 3G is pretty common and could be what is affecting you. Hope this is useful

CLick Settings option >> On video tab, >> make sure u select "use my monitor's current reso.."
