Dota 2 replay SOLUTION!!!
Ok guys I actually found a way on how to download and to put it to your dota 2 folder at steam.
Make sure you have a console on your dota 2
This is only (or if you want) for people who gets a replay error ****.

Here's a step by step:
1. Open Dota 2 and find your replay.
2. Now download it.
3. Now you notice if it doesnt download open the console and you'll see something like this.

OnReplayCheckCompleted: exists = 1 statuscode = 200 context = 118121446
OnReplayChunkDownloadCompleted: Replay download failed. Error code = 206 success = 0
Retrying download: http://replay151.valve.net/570/118121446_662041951.dem.bz2 Bytes: 0-1048576

NOTE: the 118121446 number you see is actually the match ID I dont know bout that 662041951 you see there.

4. Copy http://replay151.valve.net/570/118121446_662041951.dem.bz2 or what you see there on the console.

5. Open your Google Chrome or any browser and if you paste it at the address bar.

6. OK YOU SEE SOMETHING DOWNLOADING THAT IS IN A ZIP FILE.

7. When finish downloading here's what you're gonna do. Extract your downloaded zip file to this C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\dota 2 beta\dota\replays.

8.Delete the _######### extension of number. All you will need to see is the number of you match ID.dem

9.Open dota 2 and check your replay and enjoy :)

10. If you didn't understand in my steps just ask.

I'm having the same problem as user ".". Specifically, I download a replay and my console spits out the following:

playdemo 4763563964.dem
[Demo] Requesting playback of 4763563964.dem
[Console] CDemoFile::Open: couldn't open file 4763563964.dem for reading.
ReadDemoHeader: invalid pBuffer.
IsSource1DemoFile: failed to read demo header from 4763563964.dem
[Console] CDemoFile::Open: couldn't open file 4763563964.dem for reading.
ReadDemoHeader: invalid pBuffer.
4763563964.dem: unable to extract addons from file

dude wtf this is an old thread from 2013 when replay system was balls and dota 2 panorama wasnt even out yet

2 things. First, I still have the same issue, so something hasn't changed. Second, I'm somewhat of a newcomer - what is panorama and why does it matter?

ok 1st is Dota 2 back in 2013 had somewhat a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ replay dl where it doesnt really downloads it and Dota 2 back in 2013 or would I say 2011-2015 where it uses Source 1 engine and the UI was really different back then. 2015-2019 today uses the Panorama UI with the Source 2 engine. A new UI that is very modern looking.

This thread is irrelevant now tbh i don't know new fixes since I dont play dota 2 anymore that often too. You can try asking on reddit about it or look for it there.
