Dota 2
Syncing Problem
When i open the steam, the syncing takes longer than usual to happen, then when i hit the play button, there is a Syncing message in yellow in the library,i get the "Preparing to launch dota2" message for 10-15 secs, and after that,"Steam was unable to sync your files for Dota2 with the steam cloud, etc".My categories and favourites are all together too, before the syncing takes place, about 30 seconds after i logged in or more.

I can play the game, but the syncing is messed up.I logged in with other accounts, and everything was fine.I reinstalled both steam and dota2 and the problem persists,i also verified game cache a couple of times.I don't know if it's relevant, but i installed Planetside2 through steam in my acc this afternoon, and i later uninstalled it with the delete local content option from the Steam.

Any ideas how i can fix this ?

No ideas but you could also try to contact Steam Support directly about this, since it sounds like you have done most of what you can about it.
Also check if this forum has any help for you:

I contacted support about this issue, and this fixed it. Turns out it was the client, not the game specifically:

Please exit Steam and go to the folder called C:\Program Files\Steam\ (this is the default location for a Steam installation - if you set a different installation directory, you will need to browse to it).

Delete all of the files in this folder except:

- \Steamapps\ and \Userdata\ folders

- Steam.exe (this file is listed as an application and features the black and white Steam logo)

Restart your computer.

Then, launch Steam.exe from within the Steam installation folder, and not from a pre-existing shortcut.

With Steam running, re-test the original issue.

Note: This process will not affect your currently installed games.
