Intel HD Graphics Problem
It's been over a month without a solution to this problem. Dota 2 just closes randomly when playing a match on every computer with Intel HD Graphics (mine is Core i3, first gen).
I've already looked at dev.dota2.com forums and some people say that reverting to some reaaaally old drivers fixed the issue, but I dont think that should be necessary, since it's clearly a bug in the game.

If anyone knows a working solution, please tell me.
I hope it gets fixed soon.

Still dont know how to fix it. I guess Dota 2 will be in Beta for a long loong time, considering how bugged it is... I just wish Valve stopped adding heroes and started optimizing and fixing the game. =/

Your graphics ain't Core i3, that's the CPU. You should check which graphics processor you actually have cause I have the same CPU plus Intel HD Graphics 3000 and my game works fine (On low settings, but works fine.)

Never said my graphics was a Core i3... Anyway, it's the Fifth Generation Intel HD Graphics, according to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Intel_graphics_processing_units

the intel i3, i5 and i7 have capabilities to generate graphics, so his cpu is also a "graphic card".
but anyway, you should only let the cpu do it if your pc lacks a graphic card or if you're in a laptop and you want to save energy.

I fixed it, what I have done?
1. reinstall windows
2.Update everything (drivers, windows)
3. Lower game graphics
4. Play in window mode.
5. Install Razor Game Booster(Optional)

Worked for me, hope to help you. If it helps any of you plz post here so we can share it with others that have the same problem.

I also have a I3 cpu and intel HD 2000.

I don't experience crashes when playing but I suffer from choppy loading times and bad graphics(totally expected). I'm playing it for almost 3 months with a 64mb Intel HD.

I just recently found out that there's a setting in my bios to crank my 64mb Intel HD to 512mb(silly me lol). Try opening your bios and try finding the setting to adjust your Intel HD vram and that's it.

Also, adding little bit of RAM past the recommended DotA 2 specs will work good.
