3.Move- Right Click
Attack- A, Right Click
Stop - S
Hold Position - H
Or your friendly equivalent that you set in your options menu.
tl;dr; You`re retarded.
You mad bro?
2. It's just habit, it will take some time go get used it. Everything is on one screen is actually better than pointing camera to shop and selecting it manually. Also you can use custom builds.
3. They are in game. Use hotkeys. Y U NO see them?
4. Fair point (I would still not use it, I can rember color of each player)
5. As if Warcraft 3 wasn't 'cartoony' style.
The only thing that sucks about Dota 1 is the graphics and non-grid hotkeys, nothing else was wrong with it. I'm all for adding new options and ways to do things, but completely removing things that you could argue are better? Well that just makes me not want to 'upgrade'.
Then simply dont do it and stop to complain. O_o
Reactions:
1. You can add your "pro" characters to that roster by clicking the stars on the top right. Favorites are very likely in this game. I use it.
2. How can it be confusing? I got use to it after I played for a week. You just played for an hour. Time for getting use of the items and shops.
3. They have the same buttons as the old DotA. But the spells and attack hotkeys are different.
4. That's why they have whatever shape that is as your allies and X's as opponents.
5. I think they never overused them. I think they improved.
Overall, I think you just need to play a little bit more than just ONE hour. If not, go back to playing DotA 1. DotA 2 is still in beta and there are more characters that still need to be implemented. You have to be patient for them.
I think they are doing a great job on remaking DotA so people can play freely than to play on a sponsored website. Back then, they didn't have "websites" that allow you to play on Warcraft 3's DotA.
Excuse me for hopping in a 'sequel' and expecting it to be the same or better than the original... If it's supposed to be different and not a straight upgrade then they wouldn't call it a sequel.
1. No hero icon on screen means you have to either know the shortcut or hunt down your hero when you lose him. It was fine in dota 1, why is it gone?
2. Chat alert sounds are WAY too quiet.
3. Voice events are excessive, way too many of them
4. Spell effects are not nearly as distinctive as Dota 1, same with character models but that isn't as bad
Guess I'll just go play dota 1, had high hopes for this game though.
Audio Settings.
I don't know what you mean by that.
Beta.
Yes, please leave, Mister Entitled.
Just trying to help make the game better, sorry my opinion threatens you.
