Courier Hotkeys

Hey all, I want to show my girlfriend how to use the animal courier and NOT screw it up horribly, and need the simplest way to explain the correct sequence of keys.

F2 -> F3.... but when I do this, I always click my character and we're done. Is there a faster way, after F3, to just reselct my/her character afterwards to make the process simpler than clicking (say, for instance, while running about or checking the map)?

I believe double tapping F1 will automatically bring the camera to the player. I'm not sure if it's a default hotkey though.
F = Bring items from the Courier to you
R = Speed boost

So double tap F2 for the Courier, press F and R, and then double tap F1 again.

F2 for courier, doubletap F1 for centering on you.

You dont even have to select the courrier. I've put F4 as retrieve items. just F4 and click the boots next to the courrier down the bottom right. Brings it straight to me at speed without deselecting my hero
