Juggernaut is a early-game ganker, semi-carry and mid-game hero. He starts out able to kill his lane opponents with a well-coordinated support who has a stun as early as level /three/. Later in the game he fufills the roll as a semi-carry, who is still item dependant but should be aiming to farm aggresively whilst making his presence known in teamfights and will tail off towards the late-game, but still remains useful for pushing due to his healing ward.

Faceless Void is a late-game hard carry and a late-game hero, but can do some damage in the mid game if his farm is good enough. He starts off as a survivable hero with piss for damage, but gets incredibly powerful if he's given the space to obtain his items. If his farm is crippled, he can't do crap. If it's accelerated, he will proceed to win the game for your team late-game but this kind of dominance requires good instinct, farming practices and a good lane support.

They both do different jobs. If you want to learn how to -play- them, there are dozens of guides.

Jug is better pusher.

Aye, healing ward is incredibly powerful. It's actually a good counter to counter pushers like KoTL, as a level 4 healing ward doesn't give a damn about spammed illuminates.

I'd probably go Juggernaut when you have a hard carry mid, doing an aggresive tri-lane with him, or are going with an aggresive set up and are looking to end the game early.

I find a well placed Omnislash far better than Chrono sphere because Chronosphere might get one guy killed. This is if Void is actually fed correctly. If you have ranged heroes it'll help but it's often hard for Void to put it in a good place.

Juggernaut can still do quite well with his normal skills and his ulti and more attack damage just makes him stronger.

I've also seen Void being shut down more times than Jugg too. Also if Jugg has Aghanims scepter his ulti can become pretty deadly or will severely damage his enemies.

a good chrono wins the teamfight , not only 1 guy down. Depending on the teammates like dark seer or magnus you can easily do -5 with minor defeats, void is way more efficent late game than jugger in terms of dmg while jugger can support his whole team with the ward

im disappointed with the way omnislash was changed. so im more of a void fan now. used to play jugg a lot.

Quite an impressive and detailed exaplaination, it was a pleasure reading :).

I think Cronosphere is the strongest ulti in the game, but it is still balanced, if the enemy team is attentive enough to not get clustered.
What do u think guys, is there a stronger ulti than voids? (omnislah is a good ulti, but it is not usally as decisive in late game fights as cronospehere)

BKB counters it, and I think BM is also effective no? if 3 guys use BM against her, it should be interesting :).

yeah but in Public Games DP has easy play often ;)

That is a just shame.
When I was playing dota 1 with some friends, that knew the game very well. I remember only when BM just apeared, we were playing a game, and 3 of them used blade mail, every time Sand king jumped with his ulti, he died instantly. Very funny game.
We just barely won that game. :)

I've seen Juggernaut just dominate the enemy because he can just focus on extra damage items along with life steal if he wants too. He becomes immune to magic while spinning and in his ulti you can't attack him.
With Chrono Sphere I've never really seen it end team fights. Often one or two gets caught in it and the Faceless void barely kill the guy. Your own heroes can get caught in it as well.

Jugg can potentially deal moderate amount of damage to the entire team. Or if only a few people are there it become high amount of damage.

Venomancer Poison Nova with Aghanim Scepter. Huge range, will put any mage type character on low enough HP for spells to kill them. Very few heroes can counter this type of damage. I think the total damage is around 1300 or so.
Adding then in a normal Venomous Gale on some people and you got yourself a a team that's rapidly losing health and interest in staying in the fight.

Hell even Zeus Ulti and Tidehunter ulti are better imo. Zeus hit everyone and if he got refresher orb it can become quite the damage dealer. With Tidal, you'll stun everyone and it has a gigantic area effect.

Dazzle has a neat ulti which lowers the defense of any player over a long time. The longer the fight goes on the more defense you lose. It'll do a lot to people who do not have a high defense.

All of those have been far more useful in my games than most Faceless voids have been.
