Also you may use combination of skill 2 and 3 to heal and not damage because otherwise it will be very inefficient.
Medusa is an exception. Never spam purifying flames on friendly Medusa. Go nuts on enemy dusa though
One good strategy though is, to use False Promise and combine it with Fate's Edict - since this no longer disarms your teammate as it used to, you can save them with False Promise, prevent magic damage from your Purifying Flames using Fate's Edict and get all the healing from Purifying Flames without any downsides (you can spam them in this case as much as your mana pool allows you to).
