It's not anything to do with that website, but how drops are made eligible in DotA2. Ancient is unlocked at Lv12 then Arcana at Lv15.

Considering I could buy around 40 arcana items with my inventory and I couldn't even buy half an Ancient defense 2 war dog I would have to disagree.

The website you guys are quoting is innacurate. It says that immortals don't drop but it doesn't mention that Ancient can't drop either.

It also fails to highlight Favoured items that were granted to favoured players during the TI3 prelims.

I am 100% certain that Ancient is higher in rarity than Arcana by the glaringly simple fact that you can buy arcana and there is only a couple of hundred ancient D2wardogs in existance.
