Ursa counters are too situational and uneffective.

Everywhere I search about "how counter Ursa" it say "Blade mail, stun, slows etc...." It doesn't work. Mostly because BKB counter it all and since is a team game you can always have a support like ALCHEMIST (yes) and Vengeful Spirit to stun so you can easily grab a kill or 2. Also Blade Mail is suicide because you need to have more HP the your enemy to be effective, and Ursa will always build like a TON of HP. She doesn't even need a lot of items to do DAMAGE . So usually you would need to do a counter pick to have chance against her (and in my opinion the fact that a hero need a counter pick already make him OP), are disable carry like Viper and Drow Ranger... it doesn't work so simply. Yeah in a solo lane like mid Viper wold kick Ursa's ass, but like I said, it's a team game and if Ursa gets any close to both, double easy kill.

She does a lot of damage, she builds tons of HP, magic immunity and blink dagger and there go all your counters... holly ♥♥♥♥ did I said that she can solo Roshan and give her team 1000 gold and that's a lot of gold?

Situationals pick like I said are just bad. A hero need counter itens, so since I don't know Doom I'm unable to beat Ursa? Wards are a good idea since he has a support and a good one will break it all :D.

That's actually a good idea, I can counter his early and prevent him to farm BKB, but I belive his Fury Swipes are not affected....

Just go as 5 and have wards around the place where you think he will go. He's only good 1v1 so don't get caught out. At around your skill level ursa will almost never be alone, so turtle out and play safe till the team overextends and fight. It's not a question of countering ursa anymore, more of the question of teamplay.

Best counter to Ursa is to get better at the game. Place wards and sentries when he goes to Rosh at about (depending on how good he is) 5-10 minutes. When he goes, gank him. Pick heros with STUNS, like Venge. Buy FS, GS.

Like with any Hard Carry, you don't counter him when he's farmed, you counter him when he's weak. Once he get's BKB you will have a much harder time dealing with him, so do it before he can get it.

Also be aware that Ulti's like Pudge's and Bane's go though BKB, so does http://dota2.gamepedia.com/Abyssal_Blade.

firstly u need fat sups or that can easily espace+help team, sd-ss-bane-abba as t5 and visage-sk-ogre as t4
counter gank early w escaping and later w kiting in teamfights.

it's the same one w sven - the only problem is to kite correctly. So in pubs it's great to pick earthspirit vs him - best one for kiting, try to go for it. and try to get force staff/atos/eul one of those that will fit your game asap.

the another thing - trick for breaking dagger. but it's only about choice lothar-dagger, and hard to advise.

Yeah they wont be ,but it will reduce the hit overall damage.

You will need to use the ult to get him down. But that is one sup hero , so not a bad counter to spare.

Ward rosh, gank a lot earlygame, ghost scepter, stun, disarms, place sentries while pushing to prevent shadow blade ganks. Have your own hard carry to stomp Ursa. Axe + Blademail = hurt Ursa, scratched Axe. Ursa has no gap closers until Shadow Blade/Blink Dagger, kite him, use the static field/sprout to trap him.
The ultimate counter to everything is, of course, Phantom Lancer.
