Assuming all the true noobs are kept out of the ranked-MM, then the quality of players is higher and even the previous "good' people are struggling more.
If this is true what you are just posting then its sick.. in the bad sense.
it was a lie but i lost many of mmr games i've played
Seriously, if I get consistently good scores in games shouldn't my MMR go up? Should be a slight increase of MMR for the 'man of the match' on the losing team. Or maybe not lose as much MMR, it's annoying.
6000+ = pro
5500+ = verry good
5000+ = good
4000+ = decent
4000- = i dont want to insult any1
All u think that iff u have 3000 rating u are pro players
Faith in humanity.. slightly restored. :P

Everyone thinks that they have a high-number pointscore, but they don't know the conversion rate to their actual skill.
Personally, rather than numbers, I think the game should assign everyone a word-title, and they should all tell you that you are terrible. Then we can have people argue over if their "Awful, just awful" ranking means they deserve to be paired with people ranked as "Noobtastic" and "Total suckage". Even the pro-players should get ratings like "Could have failed harder".
I want to find out what the backlash would be like when all these "never my fault" forumites get the bad news all at once.
From both Valve's blog and Cyborgmatt:
3200+ 10% top players
3900+ 5% top players
4100+ 1% top players
seriously it's either we win real good or
we lose real bad
With 3600 MMR it's only been roughly a quarter of total games that were stomps, a quarter comebacks due to lategame picks, and half games were mostly level.
