How To Counter Slardar ?

Basically I'm having some trouble against this guy , He's my favorite/best hero , But when I play against him his Ult turns most heroes to squishy mofus, He can basically start ganking at level 6 with no trouble plus roaming around the map pretty fast and he's tanky too especially with vanguard , I tried building BKB to counter his stun but he can just Ulti and chase me with his Q then Phase boots plus his Passive is nice too , So how can i counter him ? ( Besides Doom )

You drop my armor by 30? well well well how about that damage block and reduction? Slardar can't take advantage of the negative armor if he can't hit harder than a toothpick.
Sprinting somewhere? Not if I gush you.

In general, slows and damage block/reduction do well against him. So by way of Items Crimson guard seems like a safe bet, and so does Heaven's Haelberd.

The problem with him that he doesn't really need a lot of items/farm to be useful , he got nice base damage and with his Q he got a very nice speed movement, besides with vanguard he's so tanky , The only two problems with him is his low mana pool ( Which isnt a big of deal since his sprint costs him armor and not mana , also his bash is passive and his ulti only costs 25 mana , also his level 4 stun costs 125 mana as i remember ) and the other problem that he got is his low attack speed ( Which can be fixed with MoM , he does Insane amount of damage and healing when combining ulti with MoM and stun ) , and you can basically gank any other hero at level 6 , or if you prefer to stay in lane , spam ulti on enemy heroes ( cooldown of 3 seconds and costs 25 mana only ) and dare them to come and last hit.
EDIT : and btw with his sprint and phase combined with his stun and ulti , he can basically tower dive you and kill you pretty quickly if he got vanguard on him.

he used to be so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ broken with the blink an amp he strenght so od is always good also he's not that tankly early on in the game just use micro to get him out of position and burst him that way

You can reduce his damage with your debuff or just disable him completely.

Bane is really annoying to gank solo. Almost impossible early haha.

Manta, Euls, Omni, Oracle, heroes with Radiance (to counter his blink)... I don't think I see many people buying Phase on him. Sounds weird since he's a hero that gets Blink.

Since he's your favorite hero, why don't you see some of your games and see what people do to counter some of your tactics?

Yeah oracle is really good for countering debuff (non aura) heroes recently. He absolutely destroys omni, and is a really good support against slardar now that two of his skills purge debuffs (I think).
