Why is Axe red?

I remember the origin of Axe back in Warcraft 3, he is a green orc named Grom Hellscream, a friend of Thrall then he wanted to gain a massive power to defeat the demons so he drank Azgalor's blood and then they became ferocious orcs with the color of RED

I dont know if you're 100% sure but I dont think Axe = Grom Hellscream. With the abilities, Juggernaut = Grom Hellscream if I remember correctly. Though Grom Hellscream was the leader of the red orcs. Axe looks just like a standard melee unit from the orcs.

no, Axe is not Grom Hellscream, Axe only had the same model and appearance with the red Grom Hellscream but the Axe from Dota 2 is a different model
