Setting a "favorite heros" list?
Hello,
Im new to dota 2 so this may sound like a noob/dumb question but is there a way to set a hero as a favorite so I dont have to look through the card or grid every time?

In the selection screen, you'll se a star in the hero, click that, then in the filters (Still in the selection screen, up-right) theres a filter for "favorite heros only" or something like that

In the lower right corner of cards there is a tiny star you can click and when it turns white that hero has been added to your favorites. On the top part of the screen you can filter your favorite heroes so you only see them. Also if you want help adjusting to the game the add me.

You can also jump to any hero by typing in their name during hero select. It's faster than having a favorites list.

The solution its to eliminate the usedata carpet, it has a number and inside a lot a cache files. You have to eliminate them

Is this still possible with version 7.00 (12/2016)? I can't find any star or 'mark as fav'-button... :-/

I am new to Dota and need to mark my favourites, there are just to many heroes :D

@「SUPER EUROBEAT」: Well it's okay to enter the name, but as a newby you can't try them all and then remember what name that one hero a month ago had... it's not about whats faster, it's about not forgetting something. Well, I just write it down in a textfile for now

I'm having the same issue and looking for a solution. I'm new to DOTA and so far have only tried about 20 of the heroes. I can't remember everything I've tried, let alone which ones were a good match for my style and which ones were not. I've had to make notes on a piece of paper and refer back to them when selecting. That's not a good UI.

This was a post from a long time ago, although I will still answer your question. There used to be a favorite heroes tab but there isn't anymore. My suggestion would be to write it down somewhere, on a google doc/a piece of paper to keep handy. It takes a long time to learn this game, so don't feel bad if 100 hours in you still don't preform well. This isn't related to your question but don't start playing ranked matchmaking as soon as you can (level 20 I think). Get to know the game more, once you know more or less about every hero, and can play comfortably with 5+ heroes, than you should start.

I saw someone else had posted in Dec 2016 and it hadn't been answered, so thought I'd try. Thanks for the advice on the ranked matches. I won't ask what they are. :)
