Why should I have to buy items to have a character look descent? Custom skins should never only be purchasable.

As it has been said by many in this thread, a large amount of people is in favour of the new model. So it comes down to your personal preference.

And I'm not going to start a discussion with you why in a game you get to play completely for free you won't get the optional skins also for free on top of it. As someone who has played dota 2 for so long you should know the answer to that yourself.

I wasn't talking about having every set free, I just think that every hero should have some sort of free starting item(s) or a skin. Achievement items are good too.

you can get mods to change the games appearance like audio,hud,models and skins etc.
I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN I FIRST FIGURED IT OUT.
