Most of my games are on Dire side.
I'm not really complaining, but this seems rather odd. Out of 67 games that I have played so far, 46 were on the dire side. I mean, I only have very few games on my belt with this account, but what exactly causes this? Is it supposed to be 50% chance to get on either side or is there something else that might influence this?

I wouldn't worry about it. 50% means that, on average, 50 of every 100 games you play will place you on the Dire team. Key word being average - some people, like yourself, shift more towards one side of the spectrum than others. Some people will even have 0 games on the Radiant after 100 games - its just the way RNGesus decides to sort the teams.
I personally havent seen any predispotion of why I was on one team or another - however, as to the actual members of your team - the game tries to make it so players of similar skill are on both sides - ergo, if the other team has one really, really low MMR player, your team will most likely also have a low MMR player.

I see. It does seem quite odd though. I just had 5 games on dire in a row. The chances of this happenning, and a lot btw (not the first time that I had a bunch of games on dire a row), seems to be quite low. I almost thought that the game had some sort of settings to pick the prefered side or something.

As for the skill of the players, never mentioned that. It wasn't the issue. Just that I was confused as to why I have so many games on the dire side.

Well, ty for the taking the time to reply anyway.

You're lucky to be on the dire side, the pull is much easier ahah #lifeofasupport

I just checked here, and the winrate of the dire side is lower than the radiant. I wouldn't consider this luck. As for the pull, I don't know. I didn't have many games on the radiant side to check if it's harder there. Think I played a bunch of games on mid or offlane while I was there.

My last game though (on dire side, of course...), I used Omni and the stacking and pull was quite easy... not sure if it had anything to do with me being on the dire side.

Dire's jungle is superior and has better access to runes, but it tends to be more easily ganked on the sidelanes. Dire's mid is far superior to radiant's for heroes such as pudge, SS, etc.

well dire jungle has double entrace even 3 easily accessed, radiant only has one or two entrances reallly usable. but yeah. dire jungle farms faster imo. depends on what hero you use tbh.
