2) The bullet goes REALY fast (about 3000 units per second i think). Which means that the game would have to process process the damage done, then launch another bullet. This would cause low-end computers to lag (and most of the people who play dota do so on coputers in internet cafe's, so put the two together)
Actually damage is calculated on the servers side, also a computer "processing the damage done" would at most make 40 or so calculations(calculations such as addition take little time, its comparisons that take up all the processing time) per packet update. Even an extremly low end computer still can do a few hundred thousand calculations per second.
