I hope they bring them back, Dota 2 players in India maybe small but it still exists.

If Dota 2 had matchmaking system like CS2 where you're not given any option to choose the region you wish to play then even Dota 2's Indian Servers would be able to host matches.
In the current scenario most of the Indian players get matches in SEA or Dubai Servers.
