Like Pie said, white is your base attack damage (for example, 50)
And when you put a point in your stats or buy items that grant strenght or damage, that makes the damage grow.
Some heroes got some abilities that makes their damage grow, for example - critical chance (wraith king), enchant totem (earthshaker), collecting souls (swag fiend), winning duels (legion commander), etc, etc, etc.
yeah thanks, I tested it in a custom game shortly after I made this. A new question rised though. I tried to see how much boosted life steal vlad's offering would give me, because it doesn't give flat lifesteal, it only gives percentage boost of lifesteal of how much life steal I had. Then I can't see how much lifesteal my character is wearing, from viewing over my ingame stats.
Vladimirs Offering:
Grants a variety of bonuses to nearby allies. Lifesteal bonuses from Vladmir's Aura only affect melee units.
Multiple instances of Vladmir's Aura do not stack.
Radius: 900
Lifesteal: 16%
Bonus Damage: 15%
Bonus Armor: 5
Bonus Mana Regeneration: 0.8
It gives 15% lifesteal to melee units.
Lifesteal allows the attacking unit to gain Health when damaging an enemy with a regular(right-click) attack, which includes any attack modifier with physical damage. The lifesteal ability can be gained via items, passive abilities or the auras of other units.
The amount of health a unit gains from lifesteal is calculated by percentage of the actual damage done to the damaged unit.
You gain 15% of the damage you deal as HP.
You gain damage with damage items. Damage does not affect your stats and does not effect illusions.
Agility only gives damage to agility heroes.
Strength gives damage to strength heroes and so on.
The green stat is added from items and leveling up stats.
