Taskbar on top of Dota 2

How can I hide taskbar when dota 2 is running.. hiding taskbar from Windows option didnt work, cuz everytime the cursor goes down, the taskbar shows up.. WTF!

and OP, are you playing the game in windowed mode?

no i always use borderless windowed mode and do not have this problem unless something is highlighted on taskbar. however i am now having this proplem without something trying to notify me.

i have this problem too, its on the top of the window its almost as if the borderless window isnt big enough or isnt even a "borderless" window. you can right click on the top left or right and its like you right click on your desktop so a window comes up.

try restarting explorer.exe through taskmanager

Its a common issue with alot of programs in windows 10, it even seems to occur more frequently after updates on my clients PCs as if to spite my efforts to fix it.

Ussually its enough to end certain processes via task manager (or if your not confident, restarting your pc will have th same effect). anything realated to windows.

Dsabling overlays such as ramerate counters or steams overlays can some times fix it.

ALT+tabing can some times trigger it to refresh the taskbat (WIN+tab can also work).

and i know its a pain, but make sure your drivers are up to date as well as windows.

Its is the bar at the bottom of most windows on Windows, it hosts the windows/start menu, the clock, any active programs with dedicated windows and can be customized quite alot.

it begins today, maybe because of the update

its possible, but i doubt dota is the cause, did try disabling steams overlay?

i think the update cause the problem, there are other threads about the problem from today.
