How to play Storm Spirit?

Hello everybody. Let me introduce myself: I am 2k MMR scrub with normal skill as Dotabuff indicates it. I can play most of heroes with average (for my MMR) skill, some heroes I am better with. I usually play beefy STR or few AGI heroes but INT is my least pick. I love some heroes from this attribute but 10 hero challenge and my own curiosity forced me to try Storm Spirit. Well, turned out I absolutely suck at him. Normally I would go on You Tube and look through few pro videos and guides how to play him properly, but then I thought asking you guys would be good, even if not better idea. Soo could somebody write down how to basically play him? I mean cover his laning and mid game stage behaviour, what to do and what not to do and his transition into the late game.

Use quick casting, you don't play spirits without quickcast.

Always consider what items you'll be needing. Be efficient your items. Laning phase: Spam your first skill, if needed. As soon as you reached level 6, try to gank. Be cheeky. Threat the enemy by not showing them where you are on the map. Storm can jump far from a distance to another so keep in mind that you have the power to initiate. Going in first and backing out right after is Storm's way of setting up a clash. It will distract the enemy and will let your team have a better positioning.

Oh btw DON'T use ulti for long distances or you will reach point without further mana to fight, dashing short distances around enemy is what you should do.
After you use your W right click once, then Q and rightclick again, this maximizes usage of your passive.
