Why do predicitons count if game becomes safe to leave?

I predicted that we would win, but my ally abandoned the game. Should the prediction count?

i count if the game does ... if someone leaves after the first blood the game will be recorded, predictions counted and everything will be keep,, only difference is that you can leave
if it is an early abbandon (before first blood) it won't be counted

Because think of it this way, if someone on the other team predicted a win, then half way thru the game someone on your team rage quits and the other team wins, why shouldn't his prediction count? And obviously they aren't going to just reset the losing teams predictions because then people could just make smurfs to play with their friends and quit if they are going to get a loss

Because if the game didnt count if the game became safe to leave, people would as their teammates to abandon so they wouldnt lose a predict.

Even though the game is safe to leave, you still lost. the enemy team still won. your prediction was wrong and theirs was right.
