Abyssal goes through BKB but things like orchid don't.

Depends if the disables pierces spell immunity. BKB essentially gives you 100% Magic Resistance and Spell Immunity. Only Spells and effects that pierces Spell Immunity can effect the player with BKB activated. This doesn't mean damage will be calculated if the damage type is magical, but spell effects such as slow, stat reduction, stun, and other like effects will still apply so long as the spell pierces.

As such there are a long list of spells and effect that bkb blocks and does not block. Far to many to justify posing here. So if you want to learn what does and does not go through BKB look up the items and spells in game or on reliable website such as playdota.com .
