Please explain Alchemist Scepter Upgrade

You can consume the aghs to give your teamates their aghs upgrade (and the stats from aghs) without them needing to buy it.

You can basically use it on another hero, it gets consumed but that hero gets his aghanim upgrade without using any slot, it only appears as a buff. The hero also gains the stats from it.

If you use it on yourself you just keep the stats, nothing else

it's not really free because Alchemist gets delayed with his items, but worth it for a Juggernaut, or void that don't always go for aghanim.

Well what items do a support alch really need? Only really a blink and maybe vlads. Anything else is transitioning into a core but if you want to spend that money to buff allies then that could work.

Alch can jungle a scepter really quickly though

Yeah a core can just help the team out post 6 slot now as well. Question; do the stats stack with a scepter in your inventory? I think it would but what do you guys think?

They do but once you have the scepter buff there is no point what so ever in having the scepter in your slots.

So in a late scenario you can now do the favor of giving your entire team an Aghanim's upgrade once you get six slotted and you have nothing else to buy?
