How to counter illusion teams?

How can I counter late game illusion teams, specifically Chaos Knight? PL is also annoying but his illusions are wimpier.

Earthshaker, Sven, or any hero with AOE. Item counters are battlefury or maelstorm/mjollnir.

My personal favorites are Legion Commander and Ember Spirit.

Legion's Q deals crazy damage to illusions and deams more damage per unit in the radius

Ember's fist ability utilizes items, and hits every unit in the radius once. So when Ember builds Battle Fury, every unit in the radius is hit once, and receives a LOT of cleave damage. When properly farmed, illusions will simply serve to allow Ember to deal even more damage to your team.

there is just plenty of ways, you can get battle fury, moljner, nukes, aoe spells, even people like outworld devourer 1 shots all illusions. and medusa's ult kills all illusions after 2 seconds. and much more. sven earth shaker. and more.

and if you are against meepo, sven is the best counter. cause late game sven beats meepo, earth shaker will die to meepo late game easily. but. adding earth shaker for early and mid game countering of meepo is effective, pair that with sven, and you will make that meepo have a rough match.

Yes, this works too. Veill of Discord active an area where there are plenty of illusions and possibly the real hero, do some area magic damage, the one the loses HP slowest is the real hero.
This is because illusions mostly are more vulnerable than the real hero to damage.

But a better way to deal is take a Sven and hit them all, it's much simpler. This wont work well with CK, as his illusions are always gathered around you and it could be a challenge to hit them all with one hit. If this is the case, Medusa works better.

There a certain heroes with abilities that instantly kill Illusions. Legion Commander('s arrows) is one of them. OD works too since his pure damage thing deals like 5000 damage to illusions. Lion is a possible choice, but an odd one since Mana Drain (which instantly kills Illusions if cast on them) does have a decent cool-down.

Diffusal Blade also instapwns Illusions with it's active. Not sure if you want to blow money on that, though.


On a side note I wish Terrorblade's Illusions didn't follow regular Illusion mechanics. He's incredibly reliant on them, and gets completely screwed against heroes that instapwn illusions.

why can't you confirm it yourself and stop being lazy.

all you need to do is open a custom lobby with cheats on. create naga siren enemy bot to stand in a spot of your choosing. have her cast her q, then use veil's active. use cheats to give your self gold tobuy viel ,or the cheat for just automatically putting viel into your items. litterally you could let it in less than a minute.

any one with heavy AOE. also pugna with aghs, his ult instantaly kills illusions on the first damage tick and has no cool down with aghs, Lion since his hex and his mana drain both instantaly kill illusions. both of these guys arent good against PL since he spawns illusions too fast, but vs CK, Naga or terror blade they work wonders.
