Sun Wukong, a new hero in DotA/DotA 2 ?

Well we all know about the secret boss in the update 6.79 in DotA, but it bothers me. Is he ever gonna be a playable hero ?
Phoenix was a secret boss in the mod once and he got ported to DotA 2, since he was beaten.
So I'm wondering will someone ever beat him without cheats so he could actualy be added to the hero roster ?lol

I personaly think he could be a potential new hero, IceFrog said that there will be new heroes when all DotA heores are ported to DotA 2.
My guess is that this year they will port Arc Warden and Abyssal Underlord to finish the original hero roster, because its taking too long already and people wanna see new heroes ( at least I do)

Also next chinese new year is the year of the monkey, and Sun Wukong is a main character in the chinese classical novel Journey to the West.
It would be pretty neat to add him after they finish those 2 last heroes, it makes sense to me to add him next year on the new bloom event.

So, what's the opinion of the community on this potential new hero? Let me know.

Well there's already the monkey king bar in the game. Adding the actual character wouldn't really make sense.

I dont remmber pheonix ever being a boss in dota 1 for as long as I can remmber playing since 2003 refresh my memory if you would? :) but I do remmber sun wukong being a a boss to fight where you had to use bottle to catch I think 8 ice frogs around certain areas of the map to summon him in the top left corner but man that was so many years ago lol but ye I dont remmber pheonix being a boss to fight I do remmber him being released as a hero though

Just cause an item is named Monkey King bar he shouldnt be in the game lol ?
I personaly imagine he would have a passive like MKB, he's the Monkey King obviously, also the item MKB cant stack with his passive, cause it would be ridiculously op.

Well what does he already start with a MKB? It'd be silly if he used anything else.

It seems kinda strange to have different instances of a character/weapon existing.

His passive should be like it, but with some scaling in the bash chance, just to balance it more so he dosent get too op tho.

So he has a watered down version of the bar instead of the bar itself?

Why not just make play another hero and just buy a MKB?

thanks never did any of that playing dota 1 just played dota but its alot more different then sun wukong cus u collected them then summoned him this 1 you kill red stones and dagon the frogs odd to bad I missed out on this I remmber on dota 1 where my team and the other team all pulled togethor 1 time without even playing the game to collect all these frogs and they even helped us kill the boss once we summoned him good times in dota 1

Why not just make play another hero and just buy a MKB?

No his MBK passive should like have a scale like PA or jugg, like lv 1: 15%chance lv 2: 25% lv 3: 35% and lv 4: 40 % or something like that, or make it his ultimate ability to have 3 lvls.
MBK has 35% a chance to proc a minibash keep that in mind.

It is kinda strange but, he is the actual Monkey King, it makes sense to put it on him.
When you beat him in the mod he drops the Genuine MBK with truesight, truestrike, bash and + 10 000 damage.
Better to have 2 different types of MBKs than that one lol

It was agreed no new heroes would be added until all D1 heroes were transferred to D2.
Then you will have your Wukong
