Test my connection before a game
Hey guys, I've been having some troubles with my connection lately which sucks for me and my teammates. I keep dropping for a second every 15 seconds approx, I think it's some disturbance from my neighbour since it only happens some times.

Is there a way I can check my connection stability before I enter a game, either via Dota or another program. The ping is fine, it's just a little timeout now and then.

Try ping command in cmd and watch the "packet loss" also u can enable net monitor in dota2 and watch over your ping/packet loss. Works for me.

The problem is when i test ping in cmd it always shows up nice, it is'nt until I'm in a game the problem starts. Can i use net monitor in a bot game or something? :P

Yes just don't use the local lobby.

This is a bit far-fetched but, right click the Steam icon on your taskbar -> settings -> interface -> Favorite window = Library -> restart steam.
Your description of the issue itself sounds like it could be caused by that but, the other stuff points to something else.
Worth a try anyway.
