Dota 2 UI is not compatible with 2560x1080 resolution: map border displays with a huge padding and you can't buy items in the shop (HUD overlaps items).

Maybe because he's the CEO of Valve? Maybe because he's actually monitoring Dota 2 development, like how he just personally fired James 2GD Harding, a pro caster in recent Shanghai Major?

Him having to personally come out like that is super super rare.

And him having to publicly fire someone who went over the line too much is not that same as having intimate knowledge of the patches, and being able to go around telling strangers.




I'm not trying to sound aggressive here. It's just off.

It's not a balance patch, it's a bug fix. It's not a secret. There's even a forum dedicated to bug reporting for upcoming Spring Cleaning 2016 since like, early this year iirc.

Just got a 21:9 mornitor from LG and it even says on their site that Dota 2 is supported. Considering I play this game more than any other and have invested alot of money over the years I am gobsmacked to find out Valve can't keep up to date by simply having a scaleable UI. I mean the game itself runs fine, i just have an absolutely massive broken HUD in front of it.

I've decided not to spend another cent on this game until it's fixed and i reccomend others do the same. I don't see what else we can do, researching the problem it seems this goes back to beta (where it worked for a while until it accidently got broken....). I have had this monitor a week and I love it in other games I've tried (especially WoW) but i'm very rapidly getting fed up with Dota2. I feel truly sorry for the early adopters of the 21:9 aspect ratio.

Еще есть такой момент, из-за того что интерфейс большой, бар бафов заслоняет кнопку включения и выключения чата!

I believe that they dont feel like giving an advantage to a minority of players.
