OP - if you do play a pubstomping hero then it can be very easy to fall into bad habits (that will lose you games when you get higher) and still dominate the lower tier games. For example, relying on Riki's invis. Try to avoid this.
Just keep playing, you may be working wtih idiots but so is the other team. If you are correct that you are better than your MMR bracket then your win rate will creep above 50% and you will rise up.
The best thing to do if you truly are above your mmr bracket is to assume the role of leader (that dont mean screaming at noobs), give advice to your fellow players and choose a hero that compliments your teams picks rather than relying on them to make inteligent picks after you.
Unless you are rediculously above your peers you wont be able to stomp every game, but by communicating and coordinating you can push things significantly into your favour.
