Mid tiny works if your oppenent mid is also melee.

he can do fine in mid if the lane opponent is a melee someone like slark or something. but if you take tiny mid aganst sniper you'll have to sort of just afk near the creeps and hope to get any thing you can when ever the sniper leaves. but it should work fine even against sniper if you are mid against sniper. it's just that sniper will win the lane phase, but you should win the late game even if you got 0 farm against the sniper, as long as you didn't feed you should be good levels enough to have strong ganks, and nuke the sniper later on.

and in lane he can be in any side lane, there should be a good harassing support with the tiny, one who harasses the enemies away so they won't harass the tiny. the support would be one that is a harassing support so tiny can get harassed less as the enemies are the ones on the defensive. someone like silencer or warlock or something like that, or even undying who would work well, with just tombstone harass, no other spells required. vengeful would be good only if she uses her auto attack alot to harass, if she doesnt the lane will lose, and that is fine to lose lane, as long as you kind win game, and vengeful is that kind of support who can win games from plays mid an late game aswell as early.

it won't work in lane does't mean it won't work in general for that match. simply having tiny mid to soak more levels can be strategic if the tiny knows how to not feed.
