Why do noobs play mmr?

I just played a game of ranked and a certain player (the noob) randomed. I asked him if he was new to dota and he said yah not completley new but still getting use to it. My question is why do new players play mmr and feed then say commend them I dont understand thier logic or why they dont play pub matces to get good.

I think there should be a lvl cap on mmr like you can only play mmr after you reach lvl 10 or something like that at least

to get a rank in the world, to show how good I am, and because its fun oplaying with people my own skill level plus I like the fact that the game matter more than a pub match

you are getting paired with people that have a similar skill lvl as you, unless you went 8 months without doing mmr like me, then you will see you will rise

no i word i tp home when getting ganked i get 30/2 in most my games they never have words cant last hit push lanes and or dive towers not same skill lvl same mmr yes but skill no
