The Devs just Updated the CM Arcana

Crystal Maiden Arcana: Frost Avalanche Update
- Added an upgraded wolf pup style to Crystal Maiden’s Frost Avalanche.
- Unlocked by destroying 50 enemy wards
- Upgraded wolf pups have an alternate skin, and several new behaviors

Crystal Maiden Arcana Updates
- Dewarding 50 enemy wards will gain you the Rune of Wolf Training Gem that will track the enemy deward count.

hm, does that mean older arcanas are gonna get updated too? :D

I think there's one to keep track of how many wards you destroy and then a separate one that changes the appearance of the Wolf-Pup.

That doesn't sound right. I just checked here and the only rune that I have, the one for dewarding, unlocks the other puppy style if you kill 50 wards.

How do you know they have no wards if you never de-warded?

he can watch the replay later to see if the enemy used wards.

whenever i go blondspot and hide, the pup shows itself to the enemies (reason for me to be caught by the enemies and get killed).

That's not possible unless it's a bug because the pup won't be visible to enemies if they can't see you.

I think the only time I've seen the enemy get wards is one game where they had Riki and he got sentries to try to clear my sentries.

Offer to feed yourself to the enemy for a kill or two if they buy a bunch of sentries and tell you where they plant them so you can de-ward.

I've played 2 games with CM since the update.
1st game no-one on the enemy team warded except for 1 ward at Rosh (he kept the other 1)
2nd game they weren't warding either until I blatantly started warding when they could see me and their Pugna would go de-ward. I got 8 wards that game. =p

So ward when the enemy sees you to make them deward so you can deward and till the cycle ends at 50 wards? I never really considered doing that to them... I might do that now forever if I am not busy being bad at CM and unintentionally feeding that is

Lol I was hoping to get some more wards killed but the enemy had a Spectre so we didn't want to drag the game out too much. Still 8 wasn't bad for 1 game. =D

Lol I was hoping to get some more wards killed but the enemy had a Spectre so we didn't want to drag the game out too much. Still 8 wasn't bad for 1 game. =D

heh... I usually just manage to deward 3 wards or less. sometimes the enemy put some wards in very unusual places and some other times they just don't have any ward at all. I'll play with a friend and ask him to pick zeus to help me lol

I usually do a lot of dewarding anyway (especially if there are enemy invis heroes) so I spam sentries quite a bit. =p
