Windows XP? Can't help you sorry, with the OS unsupported as it is, it could be anything.
I don't think they support XP any longer.

A Windows BSoD is almost always an OS problem, not an issue the program you're running; it's also usually a symptom of something going seriously downhill, fast. Honestly, not being able to run Dota might be the least of your problems. Does it happen at any other times, or literally just while playing Dota?
it is only when i play dota2 but other online games won't go to BSOD. Can you help me
i need to fix this because my shop is going to bankcrupt

I'd suggest starting by verifying your local files, then if they check out, recall if you have installed any other software around the time you started having the problem.
The problem is, that because XP is not supported, many anti-virus programs no longer update virus definitions for it, leaving you wide open to infection.

If you can upgrade, if its worth it, i would recommend it.
Theres no guarantee you have any virus, but a patch would not "break" your PC.
The problem with sanitizing your PC is that most AVs do not support XP, so they won't find any of the newer strains of virus.

Sorry, dinner time.
Anyway, go to your library, the right click on dota, click on properties, then click on "verify integrity of game cache"

Ok when you get the blue screen, is it possible for you to copy the error code and paste it here?

Did it say it had to replace any files, or just say that the validation was complete? If it didn't say it was replacing any files, then it likely didn't change anything, unless they've changed how the message display works.
