It's an ult, most ults (or at least the non-damaging parts of them) go through BKB.
Keep the map warded and check the minimap so Void can't sneak up on you. Buy a Blink Dagger or Force Staff so you can move away from him quickly. Play tanky or ranged heroes so you can either survive his attacks or damage him from outside the range of Chrono.
Dota is very much a game of glass-canons, where the goal is to hit the other guy back first.
